Darren has a wealth of experience in all facets of forestry operations having been in the industry for  30 years.  He has a long history with Ernslaw One, spending the early part of his career with the company and then returning to the organisation more recently.

Darren was appointed CEO in July 2021.  He leads the Ernslaw One team with a strong emphasis on people, safety, operations, technology, environmental and financial performance.   He is responsible for delivering the strategic plan while continuing to review and improve all systems and processes within the company.

Darren’s adventurous spirit sees him outdoors whether it is mountain biking the Southern hills, catching waves with his son or the occasional dirt biking trip.
