Location: Titoki Forest Weber, Dannevirke

Ernslaw One is a significant forest owner and manager throughout New Zealand. Applications are invited for the position of Forest Supervisor in our Titoki Forest which is 40km east of Dannevirke.
This new position has been created due to the commencement of harvesting 5 years ago and increasing silviculture operations in the forest.
The purpose of the position is managing silviculture forestry operations, which includes Health and safety, environmental, forest protection and maintenance. This position will be based in the Tararua District, Dannevirke.
This is an exciting new role as the silviculture is set to increase sharply over the next few years.
Serious consideration will be given to applicants with:

  • A proven record in Health and Safety management.
  • Exceptional communication ability
  • Knowledge of Silviculture forestry practices
  • A tertiary qualification and/or relevant operations experience;
  • Ability in managing contractors;
  • Environment management experience.

We are looking for a self-starter to show initiative and innovation with minimal direction.
